Sister Company, My Marketing Button, Celebrates Becoming A Tees Tech Award Finalist
The 2021 Tees Tech Awards. A night full of glamour, amazing businesses, and fun filled celebrations.
Find out how our sister company, My Marketing Button, got on in the Digital Transformation award category...
We were thrilled to find out in May 2021 that My Marketing Button was nominated for the Digital Transformation category at the Tees Tech Awards with Tees Business. This was an amazing surprise as we only launched our online platform earlier in 2021.
We were privileged to attend the Tees Tech Awards at Hardwick Hall Hotel in Sedgefield. We were amongst fabulous businesses from the digital sector invited to the awards evening. We enjoyed some great food and drink before we celebrated the achievements of our amazing digital sector.
Our category was Digital Transformation. For us ‘Digital Transformation’ means taking something that wasn’t previously available in a digital format and creating a more effective digital solution so that more people can access it and benefit from it. We worked extensively to bring our ‘button methodology’ to life online, providing an online platform where businesses and individuals can create their marketing plan, as well as so much more:
Planning marketing activities
Working together as a team
Monitoring progress
Choosing tasks from our extensive database
Creating bespoke tasks
We were extremely nervous when our category came up. We were nominated with Jacksons Law Firm and Sapere Software Limited, who are long established amazing businesses. The winner was announced as Sapere Software Limited for innovating a mobile digital service, which allowed customers to access live music by purchasing a ticket.
Then we all celebrated into the night. The button team stayed at Hardwick Hall Hotel and enjoyed a lovely stay, including a fabulous breakfast served by great staff. They took a lot care and attention to make sure we had a great time.
Managing Director, Margaret Bradshaw said "We've spent the last three years transforming the traditionally manual process of developing a marketing strategy into an online platform where users can quickly and easily plan, implement and track all of their marketing activities.
"There has been a lot of hard work behind the scenes and we are so excited to be recognised in this way. We wish all the other shortlisted companies the best of luck!"
DigitalCity’s David Dixon said: “The quality of the businesses and that of the submissions this year is incredible. We really have a sector to be proud of and the most exciting thing…there is so much more left in the tank too.”
We want to thank the lovely team at Tees Business for organising a fabulous evening. We had a great time celebrating everyone’s achievements and creating some lovely memories as a team.
Well done Team Button!
